MAGA’s extreme idolization of Donald Trump is under fire by the internet

So if you say that the love that MAGA has for Donald Trump is “cult-like,” people get mad at you. So explain why they all are watching a woman paint a picture of him as if it is the Sistine Chapel?!

The video shows a woman standing on stage, seemingly being moved by the power of Trump, painting him. Now, I don’t know about you but I have never in my life felt so moved by a person that I praise them like they are Jesus Christ but hey, what do I know? I’m just a regular person who loves movies and doesn’t like whatever it is that is happening over on the MAGA side of things.

The video itself is giving those weird mega churches that are often at the subject tax evasion and controversies. Everyone is watching her paint as if it is the second coming of Christ and I really don’t want to understand but I also am too intrigued to just leave this alone. X user Micah Erfan confirmed that the video was real and wrote “How is this not just idolatry?”

As one user wrote “Conservative Christianity is one of the most evil ideologies on earth.”

Some MAGAs tried to defend this. One wrote “Sad that you think this” about the wave of Conservative Christians and missed the point that this kind of praise of the President is weird! If we all stood in a stadium and watched Joe Biden getting painted on canvases and recorded it on our phones like it was a concert, the Right side of things and Fox News would never let us live it down.

Not that any of us would, many of us understand that politicians are not celebrities we should be praising but people we vote in to do a job. Still, going to any kind of event like this is just a level of dedication to a person who DOES NOT know you personally that I will never understand.
