‘That should have been covered on the app already’: Woman orders delivery from Little Caesars. Then the driver refuses to hand over the order

One Little Caesars customer says a driver tried to scam her into paying 100% of her order total as a tip. However, this author and some viewers aren’t convinced that’s what really went down.
In a viral TikTok, MrsMommie Carillo (@mrsmommie8) records the driver walking out of his red SUV as she says, “Thank you so much.” He approaches and says, “It’s uh $31.48,” as he reads the receipt.
The woman repeats the amount in shock, and the driver reads the items in her order off the receipt. She confirms that the items make up her order and attempts to grab them from the driver, but he pulls them back, saying, “I’m sorry. It’s $31.48.”
Carillo questions whether the driver wants her to pay for it, and he confirms. When she asks why she would pay for it, he says, “I’m sorry. Is this so—is delivery service free? The pizza is free?” The woman says she paid for the pizza through the app when she ordered it, but the man is unconvinced. He repeats that delivery is not free and says, “Yeah, but it didn’t go through or something. I need my money.” He claims that he doesn’t know what happened, but the receipt says “unpaid.”
After a brief back and forth about whether or not the order was paid for on the app, the man walks back to his car with the order while Carillo says she has no problem canceling it. The man then looks back and says, “Karen, unfortunately, you just don’t get free meals.” Carillo then approaches the man’s car as he puts the order in it and tells her to back up before the video abruptly ends.
The saga continues
In a follow-up video, the two continue arguing near the man’s car, and the woman threatens to report him. He says there’s no reason to do that since he’s being nice and they can work something out. After the man gets into the driver’s seat, the woman opens the back door and attempts to get her food out. The man then comes out of the car and tells her not to touch his car or food. She says she has eight hungry kids at the park they’re at, and he tells her, “Have one of your baby daddies come bring you some food. I’m sure you got plenty of baby daddies.”
They go back and forth some more before Carillo says she doesn’t want to cancel the order because she doesn’t want to have to wait several days to get her money back. The man then slaps the phone out of her hand, and the recording ends.
Did it really happen, though?
In the comments section of the original video, some viewers caught on that something might be fishy.
“I feel this is her bf,” user Ashley Inked wrote.
Another viewer brought up the point that made this author suspicious: Why was she recording as soon as he arrived? They wrote, “This has to be a skit. why was she recording as he brought her the food? she doesn’t sound angry enough…?”
A third said, “Temu actors.”
Indeed, the video is a skit. All it takes is a quick glance at Carillo’s profile to see the man featured in the video following the follow-up to the Little Caesars debacle. In the video, she calls him the “man of the year,” and praises him for “…RAISING our 9 kids while fully providing for our household.”

What do I do if a driver refuses to deliver my Little Caesars?
According to Google Gemini, Little Caesars partners with DoorDash for delivery, and Dashers can generally reject orders. So, if your order is rejected, the platform will typically attempt to find another driver for you. If another driver cannot be found, your order will likely be canceled and refunded.
If you find yourself in a situation where your driver refuses to deliver your food, Google recommends contacting the company you ordered through to coordinate a redelivery or refund. It also recommends keeping documentation of your order details, conversations with the driver and customer support, and any attempts to resolve the issue.
The Mary Sue contacted Carillo via TikTok comment and direct message. It contacted Little Caesars via press email.
